Graz, Austria October 7th, 2009: Magna Steyr has been contracted to develop and manufacture the aluminium body for the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in Graz. Together with Mercedes-AMG, Magna Steyr engineers the aluminum body for the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and manufactures it at its site in Graz.
In addition to the aluminium body, Magna Steyr will develop and manufacture other major parts and modules of the vehicle, including the gullwing doors, as well as hood and deck lids. Most of the paintwork will also be completed in Graz.

As always, we will work with full commitment and dedication on this vehicle program in order to fully justify the trust of our customer Mercedes-Benz and satisfy all of its expectations.”
