Magna Supports Ukraine

Like most in the international community, we remain deeply concerned with the very unfortunate situation in Ukraine. Given current conditions, Magna is idling its Russian operations.

Although we do not have facilities in Ukraine, we have the privilege of working with thousands of Ukrainian colleagues in our Magna operations around the world as well as those from Russia who share the same values of human rights, diversity and inclusion. Today, we are making a significant donation to the UN Refugee Agency and will match employee contributions for the well-being and safety of Ukrainian people, which remains a paramount concern during this difficult time.

Employee Donations

To make a donation visit donate.unhcr.org/magna. Based on your geographic location, you will either remain on that page or be moved to a local donation page to make it easier for tax receipting. Once you’ve completed your donation you will be issued a donation receipt by email or in the coming weeks, and your donation will automatically be counted towards the Magna Match.

About the UN Refugee Agency

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), also known as the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights, and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people. UNHCR works to ensure that everyone who has fled violence, war, disaster, or persecution at home has the right to seek asylum and find refuge.

Magna’s donation will provide humanitarian aid relief through protection, shelter, and monetary assistance for refugees and displaced people affected by the Ukraine crisis.

Як і більшість представників міжнародної спільноти, ми глибоко стурбовані дуже плачевною ситуацією в Україні. З урахуванням цих обставин, Magna припиняє свою діяльність у Росії.

Хоча ми не маємо підприємств в Україні, ми маємо честь працювати з тисячами українських колег по всьому світу, проводячи спільну діяльність з Magna, а також з колегами з Росії, які поділяють ті самі цінності прав людини, культурної різноманітності та соціальної інтеграції. Сьогодні ми робимо значну пожертву Агентству ООН у справах біженців та подвоюємо пожертвування наших співробітників на благодійність та забезпечення безпеки українського народу, що є першорядним завданням у цей важкий час.

Как и большинство представителей международного сообщества, мы глубоко обеспокоены очень плачевной ситуацией в Украине. С учетом этих обстоятельств, Magna приостанавливает свою деятельность в России.

Хотя у нас нет предприятий в Украине, мы имеем честь работать с тысячами украинских коллег по всему миру, проводя совместную деятельность с Magna, а также с коллегами из России, которые разделяют те же ценности прав человека, культурного разнообразия и социальной интеграции. Сегодня мы делаем значительное пожертвование Агентству ООН по делам беженцев и удваиваем пожертвования наших сотрудников на благотворительность и обеспечение безопасности украинского народа, что является первостепенной задачей в это трудное время.
