News Release - Magna Seating Recognized by Ford with 2010 World Excellence Award

AURORA, Ontario, April 8, 2011 – Magna Seating, an operating unit of Magna International Inc., has won a Silver World Excellence Award from Ford Motor Company for demonstrating superior quality, delivery and cost performance in 2010. The 13th annual awards, Ford’s highest recognition for its suppliers, were given during ceremonies on March 16, 2011.

Magna Seating’s Excelsior Springs, Missouri, facility was one of 26 global supplier locations to receive the Silver Award. Excelsior Springs supplies seats for the Ford Escape and has been recognized previously with multiple Ford World Excellence Awards.

Tony Brown, group vice president, Global Purchasing, thanked Ford’s supplier partners for their commitment to helping Ford deliver high-quality products to customers.
