AURORA, Ontario, September 24, 2015 – Magna International Inc. announced that its mirrors manufacturing division in Holland, Michigan, has received the Volvo Cars Quality Excellence (VQE) Award for its outstanding performance. The division achieved this through supplying Volvo with its innovative InfinityTM inside mirror, an Automotive News Pace Award recipient.

“This award is a symbol of the hard work and dedication of our team members, as well as their commitment to world class manufacturing and creating the highest-quality products for our customer,” said Kevin Burke, General Manager of Magna Mirrors Holland. “It is exciting to know that achieving the VQE award could open up more opportunities for new business with Volvo in the future.”

The VQE Award recognizes manufacturing sites that exceed quality and performance standards, and considers them as Volvo’s suppliers of choice in high-quality manufacturing. 

With a workforce of more than 700 employees, Magna Mirrors Holland manufactures auto-dimming mirrors and interior and exterior EC glass for various automakers including Volvo Cars Group, GM, Ford and FCA.
