Excellence in delivery of rearview cameras

AURORA, Ontario, May 21, 2015 – Magna International Inc. announced that it has received an Excellence in Delivery Award from Honda Motor Company.  The award recognized Magna’s electronics facility in Holly, Michigan, for achieving a top rating in delivery of its rearview cameras.  The award was presented at Honda’s Supplier Conference in Columbus, Ohio.  

“This award exemplifies the hard work and dedication of our team,” said Jeff Gary, General Manager, Magna Electronics Holly Division.  “Delivering high-quality products on time is a key measureable of our world class manufacturing initiative and we are honored Honda has recognized our efforts.”

Magna supplies rearview cameras on several Honda vehicles including the Accord, Civic and CRV.  In 2014, the company reached a production milestone developing its 10 millionth rearview camera out of its Holly facility. The division has over 130,000 square feet of engineering and manufacturing space  and approximately 390 employees.  It is the only rearview camera maker in the United States and North American market leader in automotive camera manufacturing.  Serving many of the world’s leading automakers, Holly ships its cameras to 47 different locations in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
