Paid Parental Leave

Magna Paid Parental Leave (PPL) policy offers up to five consecutive weeks of benefit leave to eligible full-time, regular non-union employees who have completed one year of continuous service (worked at least 1,250 hours) in the past 12 months. This benefit applies to parents by birth, legal adoption (including surrogacy) and non-biological parents in legally recognized marriages.

PPL benefit is paid at 66 2/3% of regular weekly pay and must be taken in a single block. Employees may also use their Paid Time Off (PTO) to supplement their pay during leave as shown in the table below:
