Thermal Management Actuator (TMA)
Built upon established and provide actuator boundary conditions, our TMAs are specifically designed for cooling applications within the water distribution systems of PHEV and EV enabling fully variable control of the cooling water circuits. Featuring a single or dual-sided output gear, a compact size, high level of durability and long-lasting performance, our TMAs ensure smooth and synchronized operation. Equipped with validated sensor less position detection, watertight with an IP6K9K+8 rating, and availability of Boostmode, our TMAs allow for enhanced cooling performance when needed.

Smart Actuators
The Magna Smart Actuators (SAM) are powered by a Brushless DC Electric Motor (BLDC) based on a scalable motor design. The motor is controlled by an actuator integrated IC that communicates with the vehicle via the LIN Bus System.
