Harnessing the Power of Magna, our Cell to Seat System features reconfigurable seats on long rails integrated directly into the battery enclosure. Leveraging our deep systems knowledge, our technology integrates components to eliminate redundancies in the design and improve leak tightness, design flexibility, and weight reductions.

Battery Enclosure

Magna’s Cell to Seat battery enclosure architecture offers a multitude of advantages, including:

  • Weight savings of up to 10 kilograms per vehicle through the elimination of redundancies in the design.
  • Improved leak tightness using a single piece lower stamping and an extruded welded cover.
  • Full crash protection to the battery cells.
